Ayrshire Advanced Motorcycle Riders Group Membership.
There is a small membership fee to join the club that goes towards the administration and running costs. ALL our advanced tutoring is given completely FREE.
What you will need -
Vehicle and Licence Requirements:
You must: hold a current, valid (category A1, A2 or A) motorcycle licence;
Have appropriate insurance for your motorcycle;
Ensure it is taxed whilst in use on UK roads
If relevant, ensure it has a valid MOT certificate.
We do need to check this and have evidence of compliance with these requirements prior to membership being granted and you must remain compliant throughout the duration of your membership. This is purely to cover our mandatory requirements for being members of RoSPA. That's all !

RoSPA's Advanced Rider Test Fee & Membership
Once you have reached an advanced riding standard through training with us you may decide to take the Advanced Riding test. This is delivered through RoSPA Advanced Driver and Rider (RoADAR)
The initial test fee is £85 (incl VAT) and is only due should you decide to apply for your test. The test fee includes your first year membership to RoADAR and access to associated benefits.
See RoADAR Membership page here.
After passing your test, the annual fee to maintain membership of RoADAR is £40 (due on the anniversary of your test pass date). This includes the cost of a three-yearly retest designed to ensure your advanced riding skills are maintained at the highest levels.
(This compares with IAM's advanced rider course fees [as advertised] with IAM Membership, 6-12 observed sessions, training materials and the Advanced Test costing £225).
